    Prepare for the Colder Months

As the colder months approach, be sure to check your air tanks for water buildup. Drain them at the end of each shift to help prevent freezing. This is very important if your chassis is not equipped with an air dryer. Frozen air lines can cause valves to not function properly and also seriously affect your air brake system. Also, check the antifreeze levels in your chassis radiator and keep washer fluids topped off.
